by jingoist on Jun.03, 2010, under Critism, Pakistan, Politics
***Post might contain some lines, expressions, feelings, comments which you may not like, but remember it’s just a blogger’s opinion, If somebody is offended.. be that! I am sorry but I will be quite hard with my comments. My sole intention is to make the responsible persons realize there mistakes
Congratulations to CIO Pakistan, Google Pakistan for arranging the 1st Annual Pakistan Blog Awards and then feeling bad for the winners for getting it without doing any thing!
It started well, when bloggers started appealing some attention of the world, to showcase their blogs. Then CIO Pakistan and Google Pakistan took an initiative of Blog Awards. Nominations were done by themselves or by their reading fans (who in the world have nothing else to do except this)
Lets go through critics on some of the winners who were not at all deserving people for such awards:
- Best Celebrity Blog | Naveen Naqvi | naveenaqvi.com
Is it because, she is the only person who interact with Alpha, Beta, and a few more bloggers??? was there any other celebrity nominated??? If not Why ? CIO people to answer this!
- Best Culture Blog | Yasir Niaz | yasirniaz.blogspot.com
6 posts in 5 months out of which only one was indirectly related to Pakistan… that was on Kashmir Day… lolz!! CIO Pakistan, did you even check before being so biased??? CIO people to answer this!!
- Best Fashion Blog | Irfan Ahson | bridalfashions.wordpress.com
This was ridiculous! This is a Photo-blog featured by a photographer and not a Fashion designer. Seems like CIO wanted to fit him in the list of blogs??? Why CIO Pakistan, you need to answer this
- Best Humor Blog | Tazeen | tazeen-tazeen.blogspot.com
I don’t know even if she deserves to be read. Criticism is the only thing she knows.. I don’t know where in her posts CIO found so much humor that they awarded her the Award.. ?? CIO people to answer this!
- Photo Blogger | Muhammad Khabbab | lahoregardening.blogspot.com
Lolz… 2nd of its kind….. CIO ??? Did you people have so many categories or your friend list was huge ?? CIO people to answer
- Business Blog | Salma Jafri | wordpl.net
Oh Com’on CIO, just visit this blog again and tell me if this blog falls into this category ?? you must be funny CIO!! Please answer
- Travel Blog | Nabeel | eatntravel.pk

- Best Personal Blog | Salman Latif | salmanlatif.wordpress.com
What a category… Hats off to CIO…. as if many individual bloggers are running non-personal blogs lolz..
- Best Individual Blogger | Awais Aftab | awaisaftab.blogspot.com
Arrnndd what a category again… Were so many bloggers were doing non-individual blogging?? CIO to answer this!!
- Best Automobile Blog | Mohammad Khan | caradvice.pk
Total of 3 posts in the past 8 months??? CIO did you even open up this blog ? CIO to answer this
- Best Technology (International) Blog
4 Awards in the same category?? I must say, CIO has very large friend’s circle. And yes, CIO is a very good Friend too… they never forget anyone to award their friends whether they have to give 100 awards in the same category.
- Best Online Community Blog | Yasir Nisar | www.flickr.com/groups/pakistaniphotographers
Where in the world Communities/Forums/Discussion Groups came under the category of BLOG??? CIO you have already awarded so much to your friends… Stop doing that!!
- Live Blogger | Fariha Akhtar
I would appreciate if CIO could shed some light on the term LIVE BLOGGER?? isn’t she awarded because she is the most active person who Retweets Alpha, Neena, Gamma. Is she awarded because she always say yes, yes, yes to what they say?? CIO you were so keen to award her that you didn’t even bother specifying her blog on the website!! CIO must answer this
- Tech hardware | Abdullah Saad | wccftech.com
CIO, frogod sake you already awarded so much in the category of the buzz word “TECH”, I must say CIO people are so generous to award their friends.
- Best Live Photo Blogger | Jamal Ashiqain | karachiart.blogspot.com
WTF!! 7 posts in total in the year 2010. CIO, just visit this blog once and you will realize that this blog is featuring ART and not any LIVE Event?? CIO must answer this!
- Best Blog Aggregator | Asim Imtiaz, Ammar Yasir, Asad Ullah and Hamza Zafar | teabreak.pk
haha!! Ammar Yasir, a person who can live without Food & Electricity but not without facebook, always ready to say YES, YES, YES to Alpha, Neena, Gaama…!!! hud hai CIO… did you even consider any other aggregator for this?? CIO must answer this
- Best Industry Support | Jehan Ara
Awww, How CIO can forget the bestest Member. How funny to see that CIO being organizer awarding its own Member… lol… Shame on You CIO!!
I didn’t comment on the ones that i found to be appropriate and where luckily the arrow of CIO got a bit accurate. CIO must be ashamed of what ever have they done.
All bloggers someway or the other condemn the acts of Governmental Bodies including President by claiming that incompitent people have been appointed just to be generous and by awarding ministries to their beloved friends. They have been raising their voice through their platform in order to bring awareness so that such activities could be avoided in future.
I feel sorry for all the bloggers to be associated with so much biased/unprofessional blog awards. They were completely biased .. Improfessional .. Generous enough to be award to their beloved friends .. Just like our government does that
This is Big Shame to CIO … you just lost your credibility!!
This is a request to all the bloggers. Self evaluate your self because a person never lie to himself. Stay away from people with biased mentality. Stop being favourite of any organization. Beleive in your self identity and not by associating with such organizations. Spread a good cause. Spread it independently with your best knowledge without having any biasness. We need to get things rectified for the sake of this country. Be honest to this world and to your self.
With such attributes together, we can bring alot of change to the best of part of this world… The Land of Pure, Pakistan!
Payoneer No Longer available in Pakistan
by jingoist on May.05, 2010, under Critism, E-Banking, Pakistan, World
Somebody just shared the following post on the facebook.
http://ehelper.info/payoneer-no-longer-available-in-pakistan-–-change-in-regulations/comment-page-1
I couldn’t stop myself clarifying this as per my little experience. This is indeed very depressing but things aren’t similar to what has been shown in that post.
I have been into the e-payment industry for about 3 years now which is being regulated by a dedicated E-Banking Team of State Bank of Pakistan(SBP). SBP, being one of the best and strict regulatory body of the world, keeps a very strong eye on these financial institutes.
I won’t disclose the names but yes, AML has been working with different financial institutes to incorporate processes that can eliminate the money laundering activities. SBP has been quite vigilant about the movement of funds and has been working with AML to avoid fraudulent transactions.
A country where almost all famous intl. payment services (like paypal) are avoiding to serve. This could be another discriminative step by US Govt as currently a great deal of freelancers were accepting through payoneer card. This would affect masses and eventually benefit the other freelancers in this region including India & Bangladesh.
Instead of protesting against the current govt. raise your voice to bycott American influence and their products. Hit them the way they are hitting us! They aren’t our friends neither can think good for us!
This is just an eye-opener.
A lil update
by jingoist on Feb.07, 2010, under Career, life
I am really sorry for not updating my blog for quite long due to some new things happened in my life. =)
It wasn’t something bad but it happened to be quite hectic somehow. Starting with the job switching, I have resigned from TPS Pakistan and joined Telenor Pakistan in the EasyPaisa Team..
Last day at TPS was followed by the final exams of my MBA (2nd Semester). Yeah, I have suspended my MBA so far…. and probably going to continue it in Islamabad
, and yes again… I have relocated to Islamabad for my new Job
So all that scene with last days at TPS, final exams, shopping and packing for relocating to Isb.. really made it hectic for me. Alhumdulillah its been almost a month at the new job and everything seems so good. After all there is no John =P and nor his companions. Yayyy!!
I was here in Karachi for spending the long weekend and going to fly back tonight!! That’s all from my end till now. My next pending task is the update of Hall of Shame
and another post about *****… lol
I hope everyone is doing fine in this cyberspace.
Fi Amanillah!!

Many of us have already shared their thoughts of the recent victory of Pakistan. It was a memorable win by Pakistani Cricket Team against Srilanka which is yet another Asian Team, making it very clear around the globe that Asians are too good at this kind of cricket. (including the last world cup b/w Pakistan n India)
Afridi, Gul, Kamran, Abdul Razzaq, Saeed Ajmal are all the names that really come with the best of their performances and eventually bringing the World Cup to their homes. It was totaly different experience watching this Final Match at a BIG SCREEN at Carlton Hotel, courtesy of my friend at Geo TV. Wide Screen, Sound System, Crowd and the Evironment, all perfect for watching this Final Match. People after the match were too damn too excited and happy about the victory. It was good to see Karachites out of their homes, roaming around the city with literally no threat in their minds.
Celebrations like these show as how united and peaceful we are Alhumdulillah. Its just that a few blacksheeps have been creating descriminating thoughts among this truly alive Nation.
May Allah give them peace in their minds and make them think wisely. If not, Allah please make us get rid of these culprits. May Allah, bring peace and prosperity in Pakistan and we stay united as ONE SINGLE NATION.
I don’t really get time to write much now and try reading blogs I know. Just like that i was going through different blogs and found this_1 and this_2 n this_3 (this post contains more pictures to watch and enjoy the victory) interesting and worth sharing. Hope you like them!
Yet another Motivational Video
by jingoist on May.09, 2009, under Jinguism, Pakistan
Yup, and this time its our Elite SSG Commandos in action. Its honour to be the part of such forces who are living their lives to protect the borders of Pakistan. I don’t think they need much of the explanations. We all know Pakistan Army is the best and capable enough to beating any other Army of the world.
All those who think, Pakistan is a fail state. Don’t mess with `em. =D =P
Hail Pakistan Army!!

PAKISTAN IS AS SAFE/UNSAFE AS ANY OTHER PLACE IN THIS WORLD! The video clip shows a Pakistan that is largely hidden from the public eye in the West. Without doubt, religious extremism, some decadent Madressahs and violence exist in Pakistan but such symbols are not entirely representative of Pakistan – rich cultural heritage, architectural
This is an effort to show this side of the coin as well.

A depressing weekend..
by jingoist on Jan.11, 2009, under Cause, Critism, Jinguism, World, life
It’s been many days to Israeli attacks now. The death count has been increasing every now and then. Unfortunately the attitude of the Muslims Countries including Pakistan, Syria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia has been very discouraging.
Americans as usual showed their typical diplomatic attitude and VITO-ing the resolution against Israel not realizing the fact how much destruction this war could cause in Palestine. But, do you even think Israel would have stopped if this resolution could have been approved in the General Council Session? NO. The whole world observed what America did after the resolution of attacking IRAQ was declined by the General Council. We all know what India has been doing in Kashmir, regardless of what UN resolutions state.
Even then, when the same General Council directs Pakistani Govt to cease any Organization in Pakistan, We are always ahead to do that. If Americans ask us to attack this group of People, just because thousands of miles away some of the Americans are in danger, we are always ahead to that. The current situation of Gaza, Palestine is quite critical. The death toll has increased to 900 =( And what our so called Muslim leaders are doing… trying to get a resolution passed in UNO, calling an urgent session of OIC, REQUESTION the TERRORIST ISRAELI’s to cease fire. Trust me its all very depressing.
I just got a text message last night to vote on a POLL going on a website HERE. You are also requested to spare 2 minutes of yours and vote for the Palestine. I would also like to share the currents stas of the Poll.
The above snapshot is the current situation of the POLL going on that website. Many people blame BUSH & Co. for being against the Muslims however these stats depict the real hatred of users who have voted from USA/Israel making it quite evident that the real hateness exist in the citizens of USA (so called peace lovers)
Any how, You must have been receiving a lot of emails though but lets just request you again. All these depressing moments are the EYE OPENERS. Let’s just not blame our government and step ahead to destroy USA & ISRAEL by:
- Not going to any America/Israeli based Franchise Restaurant (KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Burger King etc.)
- Not using America/Israeli products (That includes chocolates, Dairy, Cosmetics, Food & Beverages)
- Stop using America/Israeli goods
We all know that boycott to Danish and Dutch products had really affected their economy. Let’s just take your step ahead and fight on this Platform. Let’s just pray altogether that we all could see the demolishing economy of America and Israel in the next few years.
God Bless all of you.
Just got a chance to watch a poem by an innocent Palestini Girl. Do Watch it By Clicking Here

Sight of Moon *)
by jingoist on Oct.01, 2008, under Critism, Jinguism, Pakistan, life
Yes, this is just another topic for people to gossip around. Different point of views are put in front of you just to frame a bad picture of either the people of NWFP or the Members of “Rooet-e-Hilal Committee”. The reason why I decided to do a post on this topic is a Hadith, of which I am specifying the central idea.“When the day of Judgment will be near, people will start gossiping on the sight of Moon and say that this moon is not of 29th or this moon should have sighted yesterday in case of 30 days of Ramadan
Since I have heard this hadith, trust me its been very depressing to hear people when as per the sight of moon Eid is declared to be after 30th Ramadan and people start claiming
“yar dekhna kal ka chanda bara hu ga” & they prove it by showing it on the sky!
“Aik roza zyada rakhwa dya bhyee” ,
“Yar in logon ko kuch nazar nae aataa” ,
“Yar in ko Karachi mein chand nazar nae aata baqee sub jaaga aajata hai”
And what not, the same people contradict their statements when the Sight of Moon is announced to have Eid after 29th ramadan, you might have found the following comments
“Bhyee ye aik roza kha gaye”
“NWFP k pressure mein aagaye!”
“How come they have seen it yar ….technically its not possible k ajj chand nazar aaye ”
and now a very good one that I have heard….this time!!!
“Yar zardari ka fone aayaa America sey k Eid karwa do…” lolz!!
“Emergency Eid Mubarak”
“Sayaasi Eid Mubarak”
C`mon! Where are we heading towards?? Isn’t that something we call illiteracy or what we say ‘JAHALIYAT’. I don’t want to offend any one by using such words. But believe me we are not leading towards any conclusion whether we comment over it or not. As per our usual routine we have made it our habit to comment over these things.
The credit of spreading this chaos this time goes to our TV Channels as well, who put the ticker on their channels about the announcement of EID to be n Thursday. However the chairman of Rooet-e-Hilal Committee had not announced nor did any press conference regarding any finalized decision. Forgod sake, GEO/ARY/EXPRESS/ATV/DAWN/SAMA you are all requested not to race in spreading news without any confirmation that turns out to be a rumor later on. In this era when our whole nation is discriminated, when we all need to stand by a Flag yet united… this act of media channels is affecting the noble cause of those who want to have peace and prosperous Pakistan.
Wishing you are very HappY EID!

Why not as a Pakistani ?
by jingoist on Aug.28, 2008, under Critism, Jinguism, Pakistan
Since I passed out my High School, Alhumdulillah I never got a chance to get my self through the quota system of our country. For instance, while applying in the Karachi University it was something new for me to know that KU has a quota for all the provinces, with respect to its popultion/area (I am not sure).
Let me just clarify, I don’t have any intentions to make any differences among the rights of Provincial System. I am just giving a thought to what I visualize for my Best-Pakistan =). Those who don’t like it. Better read the About Me Page.
This quota system is not just around the educational institutions of government but, everyother organization that has to be dealt with the government is being suffered from this quota culture.

The question asked by the kid (up there in the attached picture) seems quite understandable. Brother is something ‘poles apart’; today we are not in a situation to call our self to be a single nation.
The poor kid just had a question but I have un-countable.
Till when we are going to fight for our provincial rights?
Why even we ask for a quota that enriches the feeling of provincial discrimination?
What are the reasons that discriminate us due to geographical differences?
Why don’t we recognize our selves as a single Nation? Why ?
Why not as a Pakistani?
