Migrating myspace
by jingoist on Sep.01, 2010, under Pakistan, life
Its been really long that I have posted here! There were two reasons actually. One was my hectic job routine in the month of July that lasted till the first week of august ended. Second was my domain and web hosting plan expiry. It was expiring in August and I was exploring few options that could fulfil my needs.
Then I came to know about Pi Labs that is providing these services at a very low cost. I renewed my domain and got the new hosting plan from them. I had to move everything carefully because of the numerous services running including 2 blogs (another for my friend), mysql/php freelance work that I had been doing and my little portfolio.
A few updates from myside are that I am currently on vacations and enjoying my time with my family in Karachi. I am going to join back @work after Eid InshAllah. A lot of incidents occured recently that had embarked a negative impression to that rest of the world. Killing of 2 brothers in Sialkot, Airblue incident, Flood situation, target killings in Karachi are few of them.
I wonder where we as a nation are heading towards. I wonder why government isn’t ashamed of what image they have created for themselves, while international aids aren’t been giving through government channels. I wonder how this flood has affected our routines. And I wonder when we would realize that such incidents are Azaab-e-Ilahi and not just natural disaster.
May Allah give hidayat to us, and let us understand what nature is trying to make us feel about the situation. Fi Amanillah!
Financial Assistance Required – Special Medical Case of Three Kids
by jingoist on Jul.05, 2010, under Jinguism, Pakistan, life
The below request was sent by Mr. Shahid Zubair of Lahore-Pakistan, the father of 3 kids. Afterward Maria Memon (GEO TV) went to meet the family and prepared a report, which is attached in the form of a video for your kind perusal and consideration.
They are as beautiful and beloved as our children at home. These two affected children are the assets of this Nation, that is known to be ‘Zinda Dil Qaum’. I would humbly request you to help them and spread the word by any means. Please Spread it through social media, through posting it on the notice boards (of your organization/university), by emailing within your organization and your friends. Please spread it the way you would want to do it for your own brother & sister.
May God Bless You and Your Families.
_______________________________________
To Honorable Sir,
This is my last attempt to gain HELP to save lives of my 3 kids, as all my requests to Govt Officials and Donors were not responded as I expected.
I have three kids, 12 old years Nida (Daughter), 10 years old Ahmad (son) and 5 years old Eman (daughter), all suffering from some auto immune disorder disease or some type of muscular dystrophy, due to which 2 of them (elder ones) are unable to walk now whereas Eman my 3rd kid is threatened by this disease and will loose her ability to walk.
In Pakistan no proper diagnosis, cure and treatment is available. We requested various authorities for financial assistance but no response is received as yet. We are not receiving any medical assistance and facility from any of the Medical Institutions in Pakistan being as a special case.
As Pakistani doctors have opinions that no treatment is available in Pakistan but it can be cured only abroad…. but my resources are very limited. I am a white collar person. I cannot afford the treatment and various diagnostic costs available outside Pakistan. I do not beg people but on the other side as being a father not having the required resources, would need your generous donations and contribution, as my entire family has a great hope that my kids will start walking again on their own feet.
Sir, you are a kind person, your attention can change our life.Kindly help us, with the blessings of Allah. We are sure that our kids will become normal and they will defeat the disease.
We have received an invitation from Dallas Hospital USA with a ray of hope for their treatment, and 25th August 2010 is the date the of appointment. The cost of treatment per child will be Rs.2,500,000/- (which is approx. US$ 30,000/- for each kid, travel included).
Please HELP us and kindly give attention to our APPEAL as we are in dire need of your generous contribution. Unfortunately, our Government is not helping me out at all.
My kids asked me, “Baba, shall we recover?”. I have to ensure them YES.
Our wishes and dreams to survive, will only come true by your personnel attention. We need approximately Rs 7.5 million on an urgent basis from any donor, which is not big for you and not for our Allah to arrange for us. Being a Pakistani citizen, my last hope is lying with you. I know you have lot of other work to do but kindly pay attention to our request.
With very best regards
Shahid Zubair

by jingoist on Jun.03, 2010, under Critism, Pakistan, Politics
***Post might contain some lines, expressions, feelings, comments which you may not like, but remember it’s just a blogger’s opinion, If somebody is offended.. be that! I am sorry but I will be quite hard with my comments. My sole intention is to make the responsible persons realize there mistakes
Congratulations to CIO Pakistan, Google Pakistan for arranging the 1st Annual Pakistan Blog Awards and then feeling bad for the winners for getting it without doing any thing!
It started well, when bloggers started appealing some attention of the world, to showcase their blogs. Then CIO Pakistan and Google Pakistan took an initiative of Blog Awards. Nominations were done by themselves or by their reading fans (who in the world have nothing else to do except this)
Lets go through critics on some of the winners who were not at all deserving people for such awards:
- Best Celebrity Blog | Naveen Naqvi | naveenaqvi.com
Is it because, she is the only person who interact with Alpha, Beta, and a few more bloggers??? was there any other celebrity nominated??? If not Why ? CIO people to answer this!
- Best Culture Blog | Yasir Niaz | yasirniaz.blogspot.com
6 posts in 5 months out of which only one was indirectly related to Pakistan… that was on Kashmir Day… lolz!! CIO Pakistan, did you even check before being so biased??? CIO people to answer this!!
- Best Fashion Blog | Irfan Ahson | bridalfashions.wordpress.com
This was ridiculous! This is a Photo-blog featured by a photographer and not a Fashion designer. Seems like CIO wanted to fit him in the list of blogs??? Why CIO Pakistan, you need to answer this
- Best Humor Blog | Tazeen | tazeen-tazeen.blogspot.com
I don’t know even if she deserves to be read. Criticism is the only thing she knows.. I don’t know where in her posts CIO found so much humor that they awarded her the Award.. ?? CIO people to answer this!
- Photo Blogger | Muhammad Khabbab | lahoregardening.blogspot.com
Lolz… 2nd of its kind….. CIO ??? Did you people have so many categories or your friend list was huge ?? CIO people to answer
- Business Blog | Salma Jafri | wordpl.net

- Best Personal Blog | Salman Latif | salmanlatif.wordpress.com
What a category… Hats off to CIO…. as if many individual bloggers are running non-personal blogs lolz..

Arrnndd what a category again… Were so many bloggers were doing non-individual blogging?? CIO to answer this!!
- Best Automobile Blog | Mohammad Khan | caradvice.pk
Total of 3 posts in the past 8 months??? CIO did you even open up this blog ? CIO to answer this
- Best Technology (International) Blog
4 Awards in the same category?? I must say, CIO has very large friend’s circle. And yes, CIO is a very good Friend too… they never forget anyone to award their friends whether they have to give 100 awards in the same category.
- Best Online Community Blog | Yasir Nisar | www.flickr.com/groups/pakistaniphotographers
Where in the world Communities/Forums/Discussion Groups came under the category of BLOG??? CIO you have already awarded so much to your friends… Stop doing that!!
- Live Blogger | Fariha Akhtar
I would appreciate if CIO could shed some light on the term LIVE BLOGGER?? isn’t she awarded because she is the most active person who Retweets Alpha, Neena, Gamma. Is she awarded because she always say yes, yes, yes to what they say?? CIO you were so keen to award her that you didn’t even bother specifying her blog on the website!! CIO must answer this
- Tech hardware | Abdullah Saad | wccftech.com
CIO, frogod sake you already awarded so much in the category of the buzz word “TECH”, I must say CIO people are so generous to award their friends.
- Best Live Photo Blogger | Jamal Ashiqain | karachiart.blogspot.com
WTF!! 7 posts in total in the year 2010. CIO, just visit this blog once and you will realize that this blog is featuring ART and not any LIVE Event?? CIO must answer this!
- Best Blog Aggregator | Asim Imtiaz, Ammar Yasir, Asad Ullah and Hamza Zafar | teabreak.pk
haha!! Ammar Yasir, a person who can live without Food & Electricity but not without facebook, always ready to say YES, YES, YES to Alpha, Neena, Gaama…!!! hud hai CIO… did you even consider any other aggregator for this?? CIO must answer this
- Best Industry Support | Jehan Ara
Awww, How CIO can forget the bestest Member. How funny to see that CIO being organizer awarding its own Member… lol… Shame on You CIO!!
I didn’t comment on the ones that i found to be appropriate and where luckily the arrow of CIO got a bit accurate. CIO must be ashamed of what ever have they done.
All bloggers someway or the other condemn the acts of Governmental Bodies including President by claiming that incompitent people have been appointed just to be generous and by awarding ministries to their beloved friends. They have been raising their voice through their platform in order to bring awareness so that such activities could be avoided in future.
I feel sorry for all the bloggers to be associated with so much biased/unprofessional blog awards. They were completely biased .. Improfessional .. Generous enough to be award to their beloved friends .. Just like our government does that
This is Big Shame to CIO … you just lost your credibility!!
This is a request to all the bloggers. Self evaluate your self because a person never lie to himself. Stay away from people with biased mentality. Stop being favourite of any organization. Beleive in your self identity and not by associating with such organizations. Spread a good cause. Spread it independently with your best knowledge without having any biasness. We need to get things rectified for the sake of this country. Be honest to this world and to your self.
With such attributes together, we can bring alot of change to the best of part of this world… The Land of Pure, Pakistan!
easypaisa ::.. Zero Bill Payment Fee
by jingoist on Jun.02, 2010, under E-Banking, Pakistan, appreciate
easypaisa retail outlet is currently serving a large area of rural part of Pakistan which still seeks for some banking services. The famous of all Money Transfer and Bill Payment Services even during the non-office hours is helping quite alot to the widespread unbanked sector. They have recently revised the Fee structure for the Utility Bill Payment Services and now there will be no extra fee to be paid by the customer. i.e. Customer will only pay the exact amount that is on the bill.
- No extra surcharge!!
This would not just help easypaisa but the Utility Companies as well for the collection of their Monthly bills. This is a great initiative by easypaisa to provide ease & convineince to their customers. On top of that, its an amazing feeling to have such services available in Pakistan.
All the best easypaisa! Way to go!
Payoneer No Longer available in Pakistan
by jingoist on May.05, 2010, under Critism, E-Banking, Pakistan, World
Somebody just shared the following post on the facebook.
http://ehelper.info/payoneer-no-longer-available-in-pakistan-–-change-in-regulations/comment-page-1
I couldn’t stop myself clarifying this as per my little experience. This is indeed very depressing but things aren’t similar to what has been shown in that post.
I have been into the e-payment industry for about 3 years now which is being regulated by a dedicated E-Banking Team of State Bank of Pakistan(SBP). SBP, being one of the best and strict regulatory body of the world, keeps a very strong eye on these financial institutes.
I won’t disclose the names but yes, AML has been working with different financial institutes to incorporate processes that can eliminate the money laundering activities. SBP has been quite vigilant about the movement of funds and has been working with AML to avoid fraudulent transactions.
A country where almost all famous intl. payment services (like paypal) are avoiding to serve. This could be another discriminative step by US Govt as currently a great deal of freelancers were accepting through payoneer card. This would affect masses and eventually benefit the other freelancers in this region including India & Bangladesh.
Instead of protesting against the current govt. raise your voice to bycott American influence and their products. Hit them the way they are hitting us! They aren’t our friends neither can think good for us!
This is just an eye-opener.
Atleast become a Human
by jingoist on Nov.08, 2009, under Critism, Jinguism, Pakistan, life
Truth, Human Rights, Respect etc
are something known to any literate person on the earth. We as a human know how to speak truth, how to give appropriate rights, and how to give respect. Although many of these kind of attributes have been strongly recommended in most of the religion including Islam. However such basic attributes of a Human are not linked with any Religion, Location or culture.
We as a Human must ask these questions to our self. Being a Muslim is something far away. Are we even a Human Being who can answer these questions to our self.
And if we know the answers, why have we kept our ethical values aside?
Why don’t we
show patience while driving ?
stop throwing trash on the roads ?
stop bribing ? and
Why don’t we realize that eventually we have to see our Lord, Allah who is the greatest of all! And that moment will not let us re-think about all we had done.
Umeed
by jingoist on Jul.21, 2009, under Cause, Pakistan
Kehtey hein Umeedein he Na Umeed kartee hein!!
But the fact remains there that NaUmeedi bhee aik Gunah hai!! Any how, a good friend of mine forward this nice song ‘Umeed-e-Seher’ sung by ‘Laal’ (written by Faiz Ahmed Faiz) Monday morning. I had heard it earlier though and it got stuck in to ma mind till when I was thinking to have sweet dreams =)
I couldn’t stop my self and started searching this song. I played it after finding it on YouTube and recalled that video that I had watched earlier. Check out the video!
Its not just about the song but a moral that has been given in this video. A person who is with his dear Mother in the Ambulance, tried his best to request the POLICEMEN to let the Ambulance go, that is stuck in the traffic jam due to a VIP movement. Those morons didn’t listened to that guy and sent him back in front of the crowd and no one moved out of their cars. THAT’S WHAT WE DO IN OUR DAILY LIVES
That guy lost his patience and rushed against the hurdles placed by the security men and Police started beating that poor soul.
Watching that everyone came out from their cars and made a united effort to stop the VIP movement right away and let the Ambulance go. It resulted in the stoppage of the VIP movement and poor soul finally got his civil right and took her mother to the destination.
This isn’t just one example that shows that the unity has its own worth. One of my teacher used to say that 1 remains (1) One unless some other 1 joins, to make it 11 (eleven). We need lots of 1′s and 2′s to bring the change.
Let us stay united and stand in front of all the upcoming hurdles of peace and prosperity. In a hue n cry situation after the thunderstorm that hit Karachi, I really liked a post by a fellow mate at work. Do read it as well
And now the real face of the Dictator
by jingoist on Jul.15, 2009, under Critism, Pakistan, Politics
Disclaimer:
I have no personal grudge against Former President General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf and all that I have written is my comment over the statement he has given in front of media during World Economic Forum in Davos.
To all those who consider the former President as very nice and clever person. Please watch this video to clarify as how inhuman mentality he has. He proved it in the unforgettable brutality of his era i.e. Lal masjid incident in which hundreds of children were killed thorugh sulphur bombs. When even their deadbodies got melt with no signs intact.
I literally feel bad about the poor children who did not come under the definition of Musharraf’s very own dictated Human Rights. I wonder why and how people justify such inhuman acts of HIS regime just to tell others that Musharraf was the best.
I really pray that somebody could bring that retarted General to court and Hang him to set an example for the neXt generation.
Note: comments that would offend me would be deleted right away without any notice.

Many of us have already shared their thoughts of the recent victory of Pakistan. It was a memorable win by Pakistani Cricket Team against Srilanka which is yet another Asian Team, making it very clear around the globe that Asians are too good at this kind of cricket. (including the last world cup b/w Pakistan n India)
Afridi, Gul, Kamran, Abdul Razzaq, Saeed Ajmal are all the names that really come with the best of their performances and eventually bringing the World Cup to their homes. It was totaly different experience watching this Final Match at a BIG SCREEN at Carlton Hotel, courtesy of my friend at Geo TV. Wide Screen, Sound System, Crowd and the Evironment, all perfect for watching this Final Match. People after the match were too damn too excited and happy about the victory. It was good to see Karachites out of their homes, roaming around the city with literally no threat in their minds.
Celebrations like these show as how united and peaceful we are Alhumdulillah. Its just that a few blacksheeps have been creating descriminating thoughts among this truly alive Nation.
May Allah give them peace in their minds and make them think wisely. If not, Allah please make us get rid of these culprits. May Allah, bring peace and prosperity in Pakistan and we stay united as ONE SINGLE NATION.
I don’t really get time to write much now and try reading blogs I know. Just like that i was going through different blogs and found this_1 and this_2 n this_3 (this post contains more pictures to watch and enjoy the victory) interesting and worth sharing. Hope you like them!
